required by law to keep records and supporting documentation for between
five and seven years, and in some cases even longer.

Our Confidential
Destruction Service
Recycle-Direct.com offers a low cost, easy to use, fast and efficient
collection and destruction service for documents and other products.
We'll supply heavy-duty (20 kg capacity) polypropylene sacks
and when full, sacks are
collected from your premises by our own personnel using a secure, alarmed
van.
The material is taken to be destroyed by heavy duty shredding machines.
The sacks are emptied directly onto the conveyor and the destruction
witnessed by our operative. A Certificate of Destruction can then be
issued if required.

The basic cost of the confidential document
shredding as described above is as follows: Collection prices start at £79.00 plus £1.75
per sack (both + VAT)

Quotations are available on request for large
quantities.
For small quantities of confidential waste,
companies may wish to collect the empty sacks
from our depot and return them when full
themselves. This avoids the collection charge.

Deep Landfill
For large quantities of goods, Recycle-Direct.com
offers secure landfill. This method is
acceptable to HM Customs & Excise and VAT, who
permit VAT to be reclaimed on goods destroyed
using this method.
On occasions a Customs & Excise Officer may
choose to accompany the load to witness the
destruction of the goods using this method.
